Besides standing up against Trade Deals that end up exporting American Jobs;
Besides calling for more equitable Tax rates on the Wealthy, that will reduce the dangerous and growing gaps in Income Inequality;
Candidate Bernie Sanders wants workers to have "a share of the profits," that their tireless labors have wrought ... and some might say, that we rightly deserve ...
Bet you won't see many other Candidates advocating for this kind of "equity" anytime soon ...
Bernie Sanders' Campaign Issues Truly Extraordinary Campaign Plank
The Vermont independent wants Americans to own the businesses they work at by creating worker co-ops.

The Sanders campaign writes:
We need to develop new economic models to increase job creation and productivity. Instead of giving huge tax breaks to corporations which ship our jobs to China and other low-wage countries, we need to provide assistance to workers who want to purchase their own businesses by establishing worker-owned cooperatives. Study after study shows that when workers have an ownership stake in the businesses they work for, productivity goes up, absenteeism goes down and employees are much more satisfied with their jobs.

Today, there are 11,000 worker-owned companies in America, and there are up to 120 million Americans who are involved in some form of co-op if you include credit unions in the tally. By endorsing their expansion, Sanders is proving that his differences with his opponents are not just in style but in substance -- providing an alternative to the top-down corporations that run our economy.
Of course if Bernie has to single-handedly convince Media Gate-keepers like
ABC's Jonathan Karl, to give him equal air-time,
-- the hard-working American people, will probably never get a chance to hear about Sanders plans to benefit them.
Given their horse-race mentality, I'm sure that Media Agenda-setters will find some clever way to brand "Employee-Ownership-Stakes" as only so much "Socialism" -- that "our economy will NEVER be able to afford."
And the under-paid, over-productive, desperately-tired American workers, will just "buy it" -- the claim that they are earning exactly what the "free market" can afford ... exactly what they deserve.
Just pay-no-attention to the Top One Percenters over-there, who keep Buying our Elections; who keep pocketing their Kings-ransom share of our profits labors.
Afterall, THAT is the New American Way. ... Anything for a corporate buck!
